Snow Day!

So, for the last day or so they have been forcasting a "winter storm warning/advisory" for our area and we finally got some snow today! Right as it began, we were headed to the grocery store and Sweet Pea yelled out in the car - I usually don't answer right away, because it's usually directed at the DVD screen! - but this time, she yelled again, "Mommy! It's SNOWING!!! Look Look Look!!!" And sure enough, out the front windshield, the road was clouded with huge white snowflakes. We ooohed and ahhhed over them and then the excitement was quickly replaced with the current Little Einsteins DVD.
Later this afternoon, the flakes REALLY picked up and I said "Look outside, it's snowing ALOT!" and she didn't look. She didn't even look up from the tv. So, I said it again. Her response? "I KNOW, Mommy. That's what I told you today already." Hmph. So much for the excitement over big fat white snowflakes...
