So, by now Sweet Pea is pretty well potty trained during the day. I say "pretty well" because there are the occasional slip ups where she doesn't quite make it there in time, but at least those times are confined to the bathroom floor. We still try to ask her periodically if she needs to go (just in case she forgot, you know) and times when we ask her to go and try(like before we leave the house or go to bed) and those times are met with the normal "I don't haaaaave to go!" Anyway, the following is a conversation that took place when my husband came home from work today:
Sweet Pea: "Daddy! I had to go potty today!"
Daddy: "Really? That's great! Do you have to go now?"
Sweet Pea: "No, Daddy, I already went."
Daddy: " I know, but do you have to go again?"
Sweet Pea: "NO Daddy, I don't want to go potty all day!"
It was so funny to hear her response. It was as if he was really bugging her and she was like what are you thinking???
Oh, the years to come are going to be fun! :)
