My Psychic Daughter

These days, it seems as though Sweet Pea has acquired a new "gift". An open line of ESP between her and Lil Man... She is constantly giving us updates on what he's telling us, and frankly, I don't know what we'd do without her translation! (I hope you can hear my sarcasm)

It usually goes something like this:
SP: "Mommy, he told you something."
Mommy: "Oh really? What did he say?"
SP: "He said he wants his bottle now." or "He said he want's his sister to hold him." or "He said he wants to take a nap." (usually when SHE wants to do something that requires my full attention!)

You get the point... well, she has quickly learned, it seems, that she can use him to keep herself out of trouble. She'e been testing her boundaries lately and telling us "no" which we are trying desperately to nip in the bud... The other day, when it came that point in the day to turn off the TV, she was not happy about it and started telling me "no" , that she didn't want to stop watching it... I quickly reminded her of the consequence that comes with telling us no (time out-which she hates) and after a few minutes of careful consideration, she said, "Mommy, he told you something." Uh-oh, here it comes... Oh really, what did he say? "He said NO."
