OK, so it's been almost a WHOLE YEAR since I last posted. Trust me, there's been lots to post about, just not time to do it! I've kinda been kidnapped by Facebook, so when I do have time to get on the computer, it's usually to check that and email... However, I have been writing things down so I will have to catch y'all up on all the amazing things Sweet Pea has been saying. Pretty soon, I will have to change the title of this blog, because Little Man is rapidly expanding HIS vocabulary!!!!! Until I can get y'all caught up, here's a little tid bit straight from the mouth of Sweet Pea at a birthday party recently:
We were in the bathroom at a local popular kid's party place and I was helping SP wipe. Yes, at 4 we still have to do that from time to time. Well, I was finished and walked over to the sink to wash my hands, leaving her to pull up her pants. As I'm washing, she's just standing there and I reminded her to pull up her pants. To which she replied: "But Mommy, I'm still DRAINING!" :)

- I am a third grade ELA teacher outside of Charleston, SC (which is also my hometown!) This is my 6th year teaching (7th, if you count subbing!) and I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th! I am also a wife (to my childhood sweetheart) and mother to two of the most perfect children ever! (They are mine, I can say that!)
