The Plant Whisperer

Sweet Pea has always been a translator, of sorts, for her brother and various toys and cartoon friends that come to "visit". Today, though, she has moved on to plants... She planted a small cup of seeds (sweet pea seeds, no less!) at "school" yesterday and all she wants to do is water them. I tried to explain yesterday that it doesn't need to be watered everyday, but this morning, the first thing she said when she came downstairs is that she wanted to water her plant. I reminded her it was plenty full and went on with cleaning up breakfast. A few minutes later, she said "Mommy, when my plant is quiet, its saying something." Oh really? What's it saying? "It really wants some water."
